The city library, synagogue, and Moller House theater open their doors
The city of Darmstadt, a center of science and research, is offering three diverse events in March 2025 as part of its program for senior citizens. The venues are the city library, the synagogue, and the Moller Haus theater. Each event provides fascinating insights into culture and history and encourages discussion.
Guided tour of the Darmstadt Synagogue on March 27th
A guided tour of the Darmstadt Synagogue will begin at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2025. Participants will gain insights into the history of the Jewish community. The tour lasts approximately 90 minutes; identification is required. Head coverings for men will be provided.
Darmstadt City Library: Discovery tour on March 28th
On Friday, March 28, 2025 , a guided tour of the city library in the Justus Liebig House , Große Bachgasse 2, will take place. The meeting point is at 11:00 a.m. at the service desk in the entrance area. This event will also last approximately 90 minutes and provide an overview of the library's services.
Moller House Theatre: “Moby Dick” with cultural soup on March 31st
On Monday, March 31, 2025 , the "Culture Soup" at the Moller House Theater . At 11:00 a.m. , a performance of "Moby Dick ," the story of young Ishmael seeking his fortune on the sea, will begin. The performance lasts approximately one hour. Afterwards, guests are invited to a communal lunch .
