Five athletes from SG Arheilgen complete sprint distance-long distance finish in Roth
Darmstadt. At the 16th Möwathlon on Sunday (July 6th), five athletes from SG Arheilgen (SGA) were at the start of the sprint distance. The event with 500 meters swimming, 19.2 kilometers cycling and 5.5 kilometers running took place in ideal conditions. All participants in the SGA finished well and showed solid performance.
01:06:41 hours, Sascha Prehn (M50) not only achieved the goal as the fastest of the team, but also secured the 1st place in his age group . Eva Riedel (W45) finished the race in 01:20:06 hours , followed by Simon Elfe (M45) in 01:27:35 hours , Jürgen Heyd (M55) in 01:28:32 hours and Franziska Heyd (W25) in 01:28:31 hours .
In parallel to the Möwathlon, Guido Götz (M50) tackled the long distance of the traditional race in Roth. Over 3.8 kilometers of swimming, 180 kilometers of cycling and 42.195 kilometers running, it took 12:44:34 hours . Despite muscular problems on the running route, he showed great fighting spirit and was able to successfully end the race.
