Podium finishes at the city run, Heinerman and Ironman Frankfurt – Strong performances despite the summer heat
The triathletes of SG Arheilgen have had an eventful and successful week. They achieved strong results at several competitions in Darmstadt, Dieburg, and Frankfurt – both in individual and team events.
Podium finishes at the Darmstadt City Run
Six female and three male triathletes from SGA competed in the 5-kilometer race at the 47th Darmstadt City Run Marina Lefort (W50) first place in her age group with a time of 21:41 minutes Frauke Hübner (W40) also stood on the top step of the podium with a time of 23:21 minutes.

- Beatrix Wiesler (W55): 28:13 minutes, 3rd place in her age group

Dieburg City Run and Heinerman Triathlon
Simone Barabas also competed in the 24th Dieburg City Run over 4 kilometers on Saturday, June 28th, and reached the finish line in 19:02 minutes .
On Sunday, June 29th, the long-established Heinerman Triathlon in Darmstadt. The following athletes impressed in the Olympic distance race (1.5 km swim – 40 km bike – 10 km run):
- Marina Lefort (W50): 2:41:04 hours, 1st place in her age group
- Jutta Cymanek (W55): 3:04:18 hours, 3rd place in her age group
- Claudia Jehn (W50) and
- Stephan Prosser (M50): 2:30:30 hours, 1st place in age group
The following participants started in the open distance race (0.75 km – 20 km – 5 km):
- Stefan Wesarg (M50): 1:26 hours, 3rd place in his age group
- Simon Elfe (M45)
- Jens Preis (M40)
- Stephan Lich (M60)
Ironman Frankfurt in extreme heat
, Dagmar Backes, Nadine Krisch, Kathrin Ortland, Anselm Schüle , and Lukas Beckmann took on the legendary Ironman Frankfurt (3.8 km swim – 180 km bike – 42.2 km run). All SGA participants mastered the challenge and crossed the finish line safe and sound, proud of their achievement – an impressive testament to their perseverance and team spirit.
