Best times, podium finishes and strong performances in Rodgau, Valencia and Weiterstadt
As SG Arheilgen reports, its triathletes achieved numerous top performances at various competitions in the region and internationally on the weekend of December 6th and 7th, 2025.
Personal best time in Rodgau
Frauke Ostermann competed in the 10-kilometer race at the Rodgau Winter Running Series on Saturday. With a personal best time of 48:19 minutes, she secured first place in the W45 age group.
Marathon start in Valencia
The sports director of the SGA triathlon department competed in the Valencia Marathon on Sunday. Despite health problems the day before, he reached the finish line in 3:29:32 hours.
Strong team presence at the St. Nicholas Run in Weiterstadt
Ten female and three male triathletes from SGA participated in the 39th St. Nicholas Run in Weiterstadt. The team secured numerous podium finishes in the 5 and 10 kilometer races.
Results 5 kilometers:
- Simone Barabas (W45): 22:59 minutes – 1st place (PB)
- Susanne Aichele (W45): 27:04 minutes – 3rd place
- Daniela Reich (W50): 29:17 minutes – 4th place
Results 10 kilometers:
- Barbara Vierling (W40): 48:11 minutes – 3rd place
- Beatrix Wiesler (W55): 57:14 minutes – 3rd place
- Daniela Teske (W50): 44:37 minutes – 2nd place
- Christian Dalla Libera (M40): 43:02 minutes – 2nd place
- Dagmar Backes (W60): 54:50 minutes – 1st place
- Marcus Ortland (M50): 42:08 minutes – 1st place
- Marina Lefort (W50): 42:18 minutes – 1st place & second fastest woman overall
SG Arheilgen is pleased with the strong results and the broad participation in the competitions.
