Athletes start in Roßdorf, Rodgau, Immenstadt and Copenhagen
Darmstadt/Roßdorf/Rodgau/Immenstadt/Copenhagen. The SGA triathlon division enjoyed an intense and successful weekend of competition. Eight athletes competed in national and international competitions on Sunday (August 17) – and achieved strong placings.
Top performance at the Roßdorf town center run
- Eva Riedel (W45) started over 5 km and reached 1st place in her age group 27:05 minutes .
Victory in Immenstadt
- At the Allgäu Triathlon, Angelika Scholz competed in the sprint distance (500 m swimming – 29 km cycling – 5 km running).
- With a time of 02:07:12 hours she secured first place in her age group .
Strong results in Rodgau
For the Olympic distance (1.4 km swimming – 41 km cycling – 10 km running):
- Sylvia Heyd (W50) crossed the finish line after 02:55:26 hours .
- Jürgen Heyd (M55) achieved a time of 02:41:20 hours .
- Moritz Mattern (M35) finished the competition after 02:32:20 hours .
For the sprint distance (450 m swimming – 14 km cycling – 5 km running):
- Simone Barabas (W45) won her age group with 01:03:14 hours .
- Susanne Aichele (W45) took 3rd place in her age group with a time of 01:08:39 hours .
Ironman in Copenhagen
- Conny Thiele completed the long distance at Ironman Copenhagen in an outstanding time of 11:37:06 hours .
The SGA congratulates all participants on their successes and wishes them a good recovery.
