Maren Herrlitz and Jens Preiss defy wind and rain with strong performances
The triathlon division of SGA Darmstadt was also represented at the first Wixhausen Two-Hills Cross-Country Run on Sunday, March 30, 2025. Despite windy and rainy conditions, Maren Herrlitz and Jens Preiss secured strong finishes.
Maren Herrlitz returned to competition after a long maternity leave, competing in the 3-kilometer race. She finished third 16:26 minutes , placing second . This early performance from Herrlitz shows she is returning to her previous form.
Jens Preiss completed the 6-kilometer course and reached the finish line after 26:43 minutes . Among the 22 male participants, he finished sixth overall and also second in his age group .
The SGA Triathlon department is satisfied with these results and looks optimistically towards the rest of the season.
