Awards for 50 and 25 years of active singing
The annual singers' awards ceremony for the town of Riedstadt, founded by the Büchner family, at the art gallery in the Büchner House . In a small ceremony, Mayor Marcus Kretschmann long-serving female singers for their musical dedication.
Awards for decades of dedication
Inge Schneider was by the singing section of SKG Erfelden for 50 years of singing .
Lisa Heyl received an award from the Wolfskehlen Singers' Association (founded in 1851) 25 years of active singing .
Ursula Leiss (60 years of singing) and Nicola Freund-Schulz (25 years of singing), both also members of the Wolfskehlen Singers' Association, were unable to be present in person
Musical tradition in Riedstadt
The ceremony was also Hans Kopp , chairman of the Wolfskehlen Singers' Association and chairman of the Groß-Gerau Singers' District .
Also present were Annette Däubener , head of department at SKG Erfelden, and First City Councillor Ottmar Eberling , who participated in his capacity as chairman of SKG Erfelden .
With this event, the city honored the important role of choral singing for the cultural life in Riedstadt and the long-standing commitment of the singers in the local clubs.
