Board of Directors secures monthly victory- national and online leagues with light and shadow
At the Skatfreunde Gräfenhausen, May was marked by a rare success: Association chairman Sascha Dechert won win at the 21st matchday before Martin Steiger (6.230) and Jürgen Führer (6.011). Even at the recent club evening, Dechert was there with 1,802 points - but Jürgen Führer secured the day victory with 1,998 points .
The month was less successful in national competition. The 1st team with Holger Witt, Sascha Dechert, Martina Schmidt, Jürgen Führer and Martin Steiger was still solid on the third league game day (8: 1), but remained behind expectations on matchday four with a daily result of 3: 6 points. The team is currently in 9th place (18:18 points).
The 2nd team competed in the Landesliga South Hesse and recorded 3: 6 points each on both May match days. currently 12th with 15:21 points .
There were also great success in the special tournaments. At the city cup, the team around Führer, Geißer and Dechert missed the qualification for the next round with 6th place. The tandem intermediate round ended for Jürgen Führer and Wolfgang Schroth with a disappointing last place (19th) .
In the 1st online Bundesliga , a strong result (5: 1 points) still achieved on the last matchday, but the descent could no longer be averted. A realignment for the coming season in the lower league is already being planned.
The Skat friends continue to meet for the practice evening in the club home "GameBox" , Schneppenhäuser Straße 5 in Gräfenhausen on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. Guests are welcome.
