Holger Witt is the clear monthly winner in the internal ranking
Despite strong performances , Skatfreunde Gräfenhausen unable to qualify for the German Championship at the individual championships of the Hessian Skat Association , which took place on March 29th and 30th.
A total of 76 men , 20 women , 40 seniors , and 6 juniors competed in the state championships, having previously qualified through regional competitions. Representing Gräfenhausen in the men's competition were Jürgen Führer (7,201 points, 48th place) , Andreas Färber (7,160 points, 49th place) , and Martin Steiger (6,473 points, 65th place) . In the women's competition, Martina Schmidt achieved eighth place with 7,398 points . Thus, all the Gräfenhausen competitors missed qualifying for the German Championships.
The top 16 men , the top 3 women , and the eight best seniors for the national competition . Christian Hardt (Wehrheim) became the Hessian individual champion with 10,406 points, Bettina Caspary (Dieburg) won the women's individual title Karl-Heinz Kranz (Bad Emstal) emerged victorious in the seniors' competition with 7,616 points.
A clear victory for Holger Witt in the monthly rankings
The Gräfenhausen Skat Club's internal monthly ranking went more smoothly Holger Witt secured the monthly victory with 7,661 points , more than 1,000 points ahead of second-place Jürgen Führer (6,642 points) . Klaus Klingelhöfer third with 5,897 points .
