Next poetry slam evenings in Groß-Gerau and Walldorf in November and December
Following two successful evenings at the Hessian Poetry Slam Championships in Ginsheim-Gustavsburg, "Slam Jam" series its tour through the Groß-Gerau district . Two new stage highlights are scheduled for November and December 2025 :
On November 13th, the event will take place at Aga's Barlounge in Groß-Gerau followed by another evening at the Lichtblick cinema in Walldorf on December 11th .
The art of language and a passion for the stage
In poetry slams, artists compete against each other with their own original texts – whether poetry, prose, or comedy. Each performance lasts a maximum of seven minutes , and in the end, the audience decides who wins the evening.
The lineups promise top-notch performances , including state champions and participants in the German championships .
“We are delighted to be back at our partner venues in the Groß-Gerau district,” says moderator and organizer Sebastian Hauf . “Thanks to the fantastic collaborations with local venues, we can regularly offer the audience new voices and inspiration.”

- December 11, 2025: Kino Lichtblick, Walldorf – Doors open at 7:00 pm, film starts at 7:30 pm

The series will continue next year as well:
