Actor couple caught between action film, love and divorce
With "Kiss Slowly – You're in the Wrong Movie," Theater Curioso brings an action comedy by Michael Ehnert to the stage of the Theater Moller Haus. The story centers on a married actor couple and the question of how love can ultimately lead to separation and divorce.
The story unfolds on two levels: during the filming of an action movie and in real life, in the hallway of a district court. There, the two former partners reminisce about how their relationship began and ultimately fell apart.
The play combines rapid-fire dialogue with shifts between different narrative levels. It deals with love, longing, and the difficulties of genuine connection. With humor, "Kiss Slowly" also examines gender stereotypes and the differences between the sexes.
Nicole Klein and Mario Krichbaum are on stage. Ulrich Sommer is directing.
The performance lasts approximately 90 minutes plus intermission and is suitable for audiences aged 18 and over. Several performances are scheduled in October, November, January, February, and March.
