BUND will be providing information about photovoltaics and the use of heat pumps in your own home on October 6th and 8th in Darmstadt
The BUND Darmstadt (Friends of the Earth Germany, Darmstadt branch) is offering two free information events in early October about energy supply for residential buildings. On Tuesday, October 6th, the topic will be photovoltaic systems on your own roof, and on Thursday, October 8th, the question will be addressed: which houses are suitable for a heat pump? Both events start at 7 pm.
The lectures will take place at the BUND Center for Urban Nature in Darmstadt and will be broadcast online simultaneously.
Photovoltaics on your own roof
to the lecture “Generating and using solar power yourself – Your own roof as a solar power plant” on Tuesday, October 6th.
The event provides information on the technology and costs of photovoltaic systems, as well as available funding opportunities. The use of PV systems in multi-family buildings will also be addressed. Participants will learn about the necessary requirements and the steps involved in installing their own system.
Members of the citizen solar advisory service will also present their voluntary work and report on how they support interested parties in planning their own photovoltaic system.
Is your house suitable for a heat pump?
Two days later, on Thursday, October 8th, the focus will be on heat pumps. The presentation "Is my house suitable for a heat pump?" will address the requirements for using this heating technology in existing buildings.
At this event, too, members of the citizen solar advisory service will present their work and provide information about their advisory services.
Both events are free for participants. Participation is possible in person at the BUND Center for Urban Nature, Klappacher Straße 27 in Darmstadt, or online.
