Two events in May and June set strong signs for women, dialogue and networks
The Soroptimist International Club Darmstadt invites you to two special events in the coming weeks that give an insight into the diverse work and the social relevance of the women's network. The Darmstadt Club has been part of the worldwide network of Soroptimist International since 1986, the largest service club of working women with socio-political claim.
May 21: Panel discussion with Tanja Brühl and Marie-Luise Wolff
On May 21, 2025 at 6:30 p.m., "strong women-strong stories" takes place in the Entega headquarters (Frankfurter Straße 119, 64293 Darmstadt) . On the podium:
- Professor Dr. Tanja Brühl , President of the Technical University of Darmstadt
- Dr. Marie-Luise Wolff , CEO of Entega AG
The two prominent leaders talk about their experiences, challenges and visions - and then open up the room for exchange and networking at the reception.
June 27: Diner en Blanc at the Spargelhof Merlau
June 27, 2025, the Soroptimist Club invites to the stylish diner en Blanc on the Spargelhof Merlau in Darmstadt-Arheilgen (Röntgenstraße 2) for the third time. enjoy a special evening in the summer atmosphere, live music of the “Sorores Saxomania”
A special highlight: previously reserved tables for up to eight people as well as homemade ice cream and drinks at moderate prices. Table requests are taken into account if possible. The evening is all about hospitality, exchange and lived together.
About the club
The Soroptimist International Club Darmstadt was founded in 1986 and is part of Soroptimist International Germany (SI) . The approximately 60 active members are committed to the professional, legal and social position of women. In addition to monthly lectures and discussions, the club is involved in social projects and, thanks to its international orientation, creates a strong network for women in work and society.
