Vocals, cello, and piano meet bossa nova, jazz, pop, and classical music. Steffen Müller-Kaiser joins as a guest on bass clarinet.
The trio Split Moods will perform at "Il Salone" in Darmstadt on October 24th at 8 pm. Paula Carreira (vocals), Nils Ehlert (cello), and Norbert Paul (piano) combine bossa nova, jazz, pop, tango, and classical music with original compositions and free improvisation. They play with shifting moods, timbres, and rhythms.
Guest Steffen Müller-Kaiser complements the trio with the deep tones of his bass clarinet.
The concert will take place in the fireplace room of the former half-timbered house designed by the architects Rittmannsberger. Organizer Claudio Pezzatini will be offering Italian snacks and wine.
