Felix “Fail-X” Münk returns with a new silent film program
Felix “Fail-X” Münk is back – and is now dedicating himself entirely to silent film dubbing. After numerous successful performances last year, the Darmstadt-based artist has given up his job as a stonemason to devote himself completely to his stage work.
With his new program “Stan and Ollie speak Hessian 2.0”, he brings the legendary film characters Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy back to the stage – this time in a further developed version.
Silent film meets Hessian poetry
The concept remains as unusual as it is entertaining: While the silent film classics are shown, Münk dubs them live – in Hessian dialect and in rhyme. In his unmistakable style, he gives Stan and Ollie a regional flavor, creating numerous humorous moments.
The program is aimed at an audience of all ages. Whether young or old – the evening promises humorous dialogues, witty dialogue, and a unique form of film performance.
