Blessings for the start of the year and donations for children in need
A large group of carolers visited the Nauheim town hall January 9, 2026 "20*C+M+B+26" – Christus mansionem benedicat (May Christ bless this house) – is now displayed both at the main entrance of the town hall and at the mayor's office.
The carol singers from the Catholic Church of St. James the Elder in Nauheim arrived accompanied by Pastor Christof Mulach. Dressed as the Three Wise Men, the children presented their blessings for the year 2026 and sang several songs. The staff of the parish administration warmly welcomed the group.
Solidarity from children for children worldwide
Rosalia Radosti, First Deputy Mayor of the municipality of Nauheim, expressed her sincere thanks for the visit and presented the group with a gift and a donation from the town hall. "The visit of the carol singers is a very special occasion for the town hall, as it impressively demonstrates the solidarity among children," she emphasized.
This year's Epiphany carolers' campaign is themed "School instead of factory – Caroling against child labor ." The focus is on Bangladesh, where an estimated 1.8 million children and young people are forced to work. The collected donations will go to global aid projects for children in need. Epiphany caroling is considered the world's largest solidarity campaign by children for children.
