Police are searching for the rightful owners
Following the arrest of a 24-year-old man on Saturday afternoon (January 17), who allegedly offered stolen bicycles for sale via an internet platform, police have seized further suspected stolen bicycles. This was announced by the South Hesse Police Headquarters in a follow-up statement.
During further investigations, officers discovered a total of seven bicycles in the area of Berliner Allee in Darmstadt , which, according to current information, are also likely to have been stolen. In these cases as well, the suspicion against the already arrested 24-year-old was strengthened.
So far, the seized bicycles have not been returned to their rightful owners. The criminal investigation department is therefore appealing to the public once again.
The Darmstadt Criminal Police are accepting information from anyone who recognizes one of the bicycles or can provide details about the possible owners by calling 06151 / 969-0 .
