What if the legendary Struwwelpeter suddenly appeared in the 21st century? The ensemble of Theaterlabor INC. takes up this idea and transforms Heinrich Hoffmann's classic into a modern, surprising theatrical experience with humor, imagination and a critical eye.
Female performers aged 18 to 84 bring familiar stories to life in a fresh, cheeky, and lighthearted way. The focus is on timeless themes such as upbringing, rules, and being different, which are transposed into a contemporary context and given new perspectives. Familiar motifs are playfully turned on their head and reassembled, creating an evening that inspires smiles, wonder, and reflection.
The ensemble is inclusive: people with different experiences, backgrounds and abilities contribute their individual perspectives and make the stage a place of diversity and encounter.
