The city library will be closed from July 13th to 26th
The Reinheim city library will be closed for a two-week break during the summer holidays. The library will be closed from Monday, July 13th, through Sunday, July 26th, 2026.
During this period, neither borrowing nor returning items is possible. The return box will also be unavailable. The city library asks its patrons to take this into account when planning borrowing and returning items.
Loan periods are automatically extended
To ensure that users do not experience any disadvantages due to the closure, the loan periods for all borrowed items have been automatically adjusted. No loan periods will end during the closure. All items can be returned without any additional renewal after the library reopens.
Stock up in time for the holidays
The city library team recommends thinking now about holiday reading and entertainment for the summer weeks. In addition to books, Tonies, games, and other media are also available for loan.
This allows readers to stock up on sufficient reading material and leisure activities in good time before the summer break begins.
Reopening on July 27th
From Monday, July 27, 2026, the Reinheim city library will be open again during its usual opening hours and will be available to its visitors as usual.
