Dream passport decides tough game at the Böllenfalltor
SV Darmstadt 98 celebrated a very important victory in the relegation battle of the 2nd Bundesliga on Saturday. With 1-0, the Lilien Greuther Fürth defeated in a game at the Böllenfall gate over long distances.
The game was poor in highlights, but rich in commitment: both teams met mostly in midfield, real chances remained in short supply. But in the 79th minute the moment followed that the game decided-and who rewarded the stadium visit: Jean-Paul Boëtius played a fantastic passport , perfectly timed for Isac Lidberg , who remained ice cold and overcame Fürth's goalkeeper.
The brilliant pass of Boëtius - technically strong, fast -thought and precise - was the highlight of the evening and impressively underlined the potential of the creative midfielder.
In the end, only the three points count - and the realization that a single moment is often enough to decide a game. This time it was a positive moment for the lilies.
