Board of Directors confirmed by 2027 - Roland Wildacker remains chairman of the TCB
In the anniversary year of its 25th anniversary, the Tennis Club Bessungen 2000 Darmstadt e. V. (TCB) set on personnel continuity. At the annual general meeting, the entire board was unanimously re -elected for two more years until 2027.
Roland Hobscher remains club chairman, Sandra Russo , the second chair and head of the office on the club complex behind the racetrack . The other board members were also confirmed in their offices: Ingrid Siegrist (Finance), Michael Erler (Secretary), Luis Kaiser and Ilona Tangemann (youth), Caroline Hall and Philipp Grahm (competitive sport), Florian Weber (Platzwart), Ralf Geschka (mass sports) and Ingeborg Holzhaus (events). Veronika Rodenhäuser and Dirk Tangemann take over the cash check.
660 members and strong youth work
The TCB today has around 660 members and is active in almost all age groups-for example with women 40 in the regional league South-Südwest , the highest German league in their age group. Youth work is also very important in the club.
International tournament and summer festival planned
As a sporting figurehead of the club, the women's tennis-world list tournament "Tennis International" , which will be held for the 49th time in the facility July 14th to 2025 The traditional tournament enjoys a permanent place in the international calendar and is organized on a voluntary basis by the TCB team.
Another highlight in the anniversary year is the summer festival on August 16, 2025 at the club complex, to which members and friends of the club are invited.
The Tennis Club Bessungen was created in 2000 from the tennis department of the gymnastics community Bessungen (TGB) and has since developed into one of the most renowned tennis clubs in the region.
