Changes in traffic management and noise measurements are expected to yield new insights.
The municipality of Nauheim has announced that an extensive trial period has begun in the Industriestraße/Taunusstraße . The trial will run until April 27, 2026 , and includes both a new traffic management system and temporary noise measurements. The goal is to sustainably improve the situation for residents and businesses.
New traffic regulations since November 19th
A noise measuring device was installed back in October to collect comparative data before the start of the test phase. Traffic patterns have been altered since November 19th.
- One-sided absolute no-stopping zone in Industriestraße (left side when facing "Am Sportfeld")
- Access to Industriestraße is only possible via “Am Sportfeld”
- Exit only via Taunusstraße
- The regulation also applies to buses and trucks and is indicated by appropriate signage.
The comparison of measurement data before and during the test phase is intended to identify potential changes in noise emissions.
The participation of local residents is still expressly desired.
Mayor Marc Friedrich emphasizes that this approach arose from close exchange with the population:
"This concept is the result of our intensive dialogue with citizens. A good coexistence between residents and businesses is the focus of our efforts."
Residents can continue to submit their observations via email during the test phase:

on September 30, 2025 , in the Nauheim town hall, where the concept for the test phase and the accompanying email channel were presented.
Evaluation in spring 2026
The municipality will provide information about any necessary adjustments before the end of the test phase. A detailed evaluation of the collected data and feedback will then be conducted.
