Kästner's piece is a classic of the anti -account world literature . The satirical comedy , premiered in 1957 in Munich, designs the image of a state in which a fallen dictator is replaced by identical doppelgangers - trained in a "school of dictators". A dark vision of political manipulation that has lost none of its topicality. Kästner's sharp view of fascism, militarism and bourgeois morality still hits the mark today.
The performances take place at 7:30 p.m. in the theater at Kirchstrasse 16 in Riedstadt-Leheim . The theater café opens an hour before the start and remains open even after the performance.
