Remaining tickets for the performances on June 7th and 13th at the BüchnerBühne Riedstadt-Leeheim
After two sold-out performances, Erich Kästner's political satire "The School for Dictators" will be staged again at the BüchnerBühne on June 7th and 13th, 2025. Only a few tickets remain for both dates. Advance ticket sales are underway – theatergoers are advised to secure their seats early.
Kästner's play is a classic of anti-totalitarian world literature. The satirical comedy, first performed in Munich in 1957, depicts a state in which a deposed dictator is replaced by identical doubles – trained in a "school for dictators." A dark vision of political manipulation that has lost none of its relevance. Kästner's sharp observations of fascism, militarism , and bourgeois morality still resonate deeply today.
The performances take place at 7:30 pm at the theater located at Kirchstraße 16 in Riedstadt-Leeheim . The theater café opens one hour before the performance and remains open afterward.
Ticket prices: €20 in advance, €23 at the door.
