Two concert evenings between industrial romanticism and Balkan beats
Theater Mobile Zwingenberg ad Bergstraße eV invites you to two musically very different evenings at the end of February. On February 27th and 28th, Loopin'Lab and Schmackes, two bands bringing their own unique soundscapes – from experimental industrial romanticism to danceable Balkan music – will take to the stage.
Loopin'Lab – GHOSTS IN THE MACHINE
On Thursday, February 27th, at 8 pm, Michael Cramer and Saschmo Bibergeil will present their project "Loopin'Lab – Ghosts in the Machine". The Munich-based musicians and inventors combine concert and performance into an extraordinary overall experience.
Stylistically situated between Steampunk, Arcane, and Art Nouveau, they create their own soundscape with their self-built machine, "Ghost." Besides guitars, they also employ unusual sound-generating devices such as drills, pumps, saws, and laboratory flasks. The musical robot lends the pieces the proverbial "ghost from the machine." The aim is to create songs with echoes of Liverpool's industrial romanticism—experimental, danceable, and with a touch of humor.
Admission: 20 euros, advance booking plus fees.
Schmackes – In Search of Schmackistan
On Friday, February 28th, also at 8 pm, Schmackes will present a musical journey entitled "In Search of Schmackistan". The four musicians combine influences from Eastern Europe with their own compositions.
The audience can expect a blend of wistful, emotional moments and infectious rhythms that will have them dancing. The band promises an evening of musical diversity, humorous stories, and Balkan sounds that will lift your spirits and bring you back to everyday life.
Admission: 20 euros, advance booking plus fees.
