The cabaret evening will receive its final polish at the BüchnerBühne in Riedstadt in early September.
A public dress rehearsal will take place on Friday, September 5th, at 7:30 pm , and the preview performance on Sunday, September 7th, at 6:00 pm . The venue is the BüchnerBühne in Leeheim, Kirchstraße 16. Tickets are available through the Reservix or the BüchnerBühne ticket shop .
An artist looks back
Freitag has been closely associated with the BüchnerBühne for years. He even appeared on stage in Büchner's "Danton's Death" as a show of solidarity. He has rehearsed and premiered his programs here on several occasions. Now he bids farewell with a program that combines personal experiences, social outrage, and satirical bite.
In "Retreat Across the Mines of the Plain," he confronts the abyss of human action with the lightheartedness of art. Whether Kafkaesque, parodic, or contemplative, Freitag exposes the human hubris of feeling superior to animals and shows how every achievement is simultaneously abused. His legendary parodies lend the evening a special touch.
The intimate atmosphere of the BüchnerBühne, with only 68 seats, makes the dress rehearsal and preview an exclusive experience.
