Thomas Freitag, nationally renowned actor and cabaret artist, begins his farewell tour in Riedstadt. The cabaret evening will receive its final touches in early September at the BüchnerBühne Riedstadt.
A public dress rehearsal will take place on Friday, September 5, at 7:30 p.m. , and the preview will take place on Sunday, September 7, at 6:00 p.m. The venue is the BüchnerBühne in Leeheim, Kirchstraße 16. Tickets are available through the reservix or the BüchnerBühne ticket shop .
An artist looks back
Freitag has been closely associated with the BüchnerBühne for years. He even appeared on stage in Büchner's "Danton's Death" as a show of solidarity. He has rehearsed his programs here several times and presented them to audiences for the first time. Now he bids farewell with a program that combines personal experiences, social anger, and satirical edge.
In "Retreat Over the Mines of the Plain," he confronts the depths of human behavior with the gaiety of art. Whether Kafkaesque, parodistic, or thoughtful, Freitag exposes the human hubris of feeling superior to animals and shows how every achievement is simultaneously abused. His legendary parodies add a special touch to the evening.
The intimate atmosphere of the BüchnerBühne with only 68 seats makes the dress rehearsal and preview an exclusive experience.
