Creative workshop "Off in the middle!"
The district town of Groß-Gerau calls for active participation in the state competition "Off in the middle!" 2025. Under the motto "Bring Life again in your city", a creative workshop takes place in this context that offers interested parties the opportunity to develop an innovative idea to revitalize the city center and thus use the opportunity for funding of up to 25,000 euros .
The workshop will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the old district court in Groß-Gerau (Darmstädter Straße 31). The state competition "Off in the middle!" The goal is to make city centers more lively and more attractive. In cooperation with the IHK Darmstadt Rhein Main Neckar, the district town of Groß-Gerau organizes a creative workshop in which specific project ideas are developed. The focus is on reducing vacancies, revitalizing the city center and making Groß-Gerau more sustainable.
Content of the workshop: In the workshop, the focus is on creative ideas. An exciting project idea is developed together, which is implemented directly on site into a formulated project description and an application video. Modern creative methods promote inspiring cooperation that produces innovative approaches to inner city development. The final idea is submitted immediately for the competition, so that the workshop makes a direct contribution to urban design.
Mayor Jörg Rüddenklau emphasizes: “The creative workshop is an example of lived citizen participation. Here all generations have the chance to actively help shape the future of the city center. Together, innovative ideas can be developed that enliven and make Groß-Gerau more attractive. ”This process lives from diverse perspectives. Regardless of age, profession, interests or previous experiences, every creative idea contributes to the joint development.
