Eleven graduates achieve the best results in their vocational training across Hesse – honored at the Darmstadtium
The Darmstadt Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK Darmstadt) honored 78 of the best trainees from southern Hesse at a ceremony in the darmstadtium. The graduates come from 45 different apprenticeship trades and achieved at least 87 out of 100 possible points in their exams. Eleven of them achieved the best results in their respective trades across all of Hesse.
Around 300 guests attended the ceremony. According to the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK), more than 2,800 trainees have completed their apprenticeships in the Darmstadt IHK district. This district encompasses the Bergstraße, Darmstadt-Dieburg, Groß-Gerau, and Odenwald districts, as well as the city of Darmstadt.
99 out of 100 points for industrial clerk
Alyssa Léan Höreth achieved a particularly high exam result . She completed her apprenticeship as an industrial clerk at e-netz Südhessen AG in Darmstadt and achieved 99 out of a possible 100 points in last winter's exam . According to the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK), this was the best result across all professions in southern Hesse, and she was also recognized as a "Top Apprentice".
At the event, IHK Vice President Elfi Gruß praised the achievements of the graduates and also pointed to the need for skilled workers in the region's companies.
Trained for the first time and produced the best graduate of the year
The Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) recognized HGastro GmbH from Lampertheim as a "newcomer company." The company is training apprentices for the first time. Lars-Hendrik Krämer was the company's top apprentice in the event management profession.
Dr. Marcel Walter, Head of Vocational Training at the Darmstadt Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK), also pointed out further training opportunities after completing a dual vocational training program at the event. Graduates could, for example, acquire additional professional qualifications while working.
According to the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK), there are still opportunities to find an apprenticeship position in the current training year. Vacancies in IHK-certified apprenticeship occupations can be researched, among other ways, via the apprenticeship atlas.
