Road closures and increased traffic are expected in Darmstadt on February 20th
As the Darmstadt police announced in a press release, traffic disruptions in the city center are expected on Thursday, February 20th, due to several political events.
The police recommend expecting increased traffic and using public transport if possible .
City ring road closed from 11 a.m
The events at the Darmstadtium necessitate the closure of the city ring road (Schlossgraben) . The section between Landgraf-Georg-Straße and Alexanderstraße will be closed to traffic from approximately 11:00 AM
Visitors to the city center are asked to parking garages outside the affected area and extra time for arrival and departure .
Police accompany events with emergency personnel
The Darmstadt police will be present with officers in the city center and around the Darmstadtium to monitor the events .
