The main road between Berkach and Büttelborn will be completely closed from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
The popular "GG läuft" corporate run will take place for the eleventh time on Thursday, June 12, 2025 – for the first time with a new route . The start and finish of the event are now located at Dornberg Castle . The starting gun will be fired at 7:00 p.m. , and the finish is expected 8:00 p.m.
New route requires changed traffic management
Due to increased safety requirements, the route has been rerouted to less urban areas. The focus of the traffic control measures will be primarily on the country road between Berkach and Büttelborn , which will be completely closed for the duration of the event.
Traffic information overview:
- The main road between Berkach and Büttelborn will be completely closed from 6:30 p.m. until approximately 8:00 p.m.
- In Dornberg : No access to the main road opposite the pheasantry, main road closed from Friedrich-Engels-Straße (access for residents possible up to the running track)
- In Büttelborn : The main road is closed from the SKV car park , but the car park remains accessible.
- In Berkach : The main road through the village is only passable up to the Groß-Gerauer Straße ; access for residents is limited to the road.
- Detour recommended via the B44
Route
The route leads from Dornberg Castle via paved field paths to the closed country road towards Büttelborn, runs along the Landgraben and via the SKV sports grounds back to the castle.
The city of Groß-Gerau and the municipality of Büttelborn ask all road users for their understanding. The road closures will be immediately after the race .
