District Administrator and First District Councillor welcome 22 young professionals at breakfast
Groß-Gerau District. With a shared breakfast in the district administration's bistro canteen on August 11, District Administrator Thomas Will and First District Councilor Adil Oyan welcomed 22 new trainees, students, and interns to the district administration.
"It's great that you're here and want to start working with us – in a modern administration," emphasized District Administrator Will. The relaxed exchange with the two administrative heads was a highlight of the induction week. After a brief round of introductions, they openly answered questions about their careers and personal topics such as family, hobbies, or dealing with setbacks. "Failure doesn't have to be a misfortune – it can also be an opportunity for further development," said Oyan. Both emphasized the importance of honesty, trust, and openness as core values.
The induction week offers junior employees a varied program: team games encourage them to get to know each other, and seminars impart specialist knowledge, values, and skills for everyday work. In addition, all participants receive an overview of organizational processes and internal structures.
The program concludes on Friday with Trainee Day , an integral part of the training program. It focuses entirely on the trainees and offers a space for exchange and community.
