Application phase for the 2026 training year already started
Groß-Gerau. For the new training year, the district town of Groß-Gerau welcomes two young talents: Jonas Kaffke and Felix Stieglitz have begun their training as administrative assistants and will now be joining the city administration's training team. This now consists of a total of five trainees.
"Our administration thrives on committed young talent. With Jonas Kaffke and Felix Stieglitz, we are gaining two motivated young people who will actively shape the city. Training is a high priority for us—it is the best investment in our city's future," emphasizes Mayor Jörg Rüddenklau .
Versatile and practical training
The three-year training program at the city administration combines practical experience in various departments—including the Human Resources Department, Central Services, Building Construction and Real Estate, and Civil and Regulatory Affairs—with theoretical modules at the vocational school and the Darmstadt Administrative Seminar. The curriculum includes administrative law, municipal law, human resources, budgeting, and economics.
In addition to specialist knowledge, the training requires organizational skills, a confident understanding of laws, and civic engagement. It offers young people the opportunity to immediately put their theoretical knowledge into practice and prepare themselves step by step for their future responsibilities.
