Anastasia Schoone finally found an apprenticeship at bed and room equipment- and a new home.
The young woman comes around the corner in a friendly and open manner when Michael Kniess wants to look for his freshly baked society. Anastasia Schoone originally comes from near Suhl in Thuringia and has had to have bitter experiences before her training in Eberstadt: "I think I wrote over 50 applications," says the twenty -year -old. “I applied for training as a media designer, the draftsman and also a interior decorator, but always without success. There were only cancellations. The worst is, however, if you don't even get a cancellation, you just don't hear anything anymore. That is very scratched by self -confidence. You invest a lot of time and also money in application folders. At least one expects feedback, ”said Schoone. The economy has been complaining about the alleged shortage of skilled workers for years. However, reality seems to look different. Many companies no longer train, internships are reduced. That makes too much work, is simply annoying. But where should specialist knowledge come from if it is not passed on?

Bed and room equipment Kniess is an established family company in Darmstadt, which has been known for high-quality bedding and stylish interior equipment for many years. Founded over 60 years ago, the company made a name for itself as a trustworthy provider for individually adapted sleep solutions and living space design. And the company has been training for years. “If we didn't train, we would have serious problems to find good people. It is not the case that young people don't feel like working or everyone just wants to become influencers. But how should our children get to know job profiles if fewer and fewer internships are offered? How if nothing is conveyed in our schools? ”Asks owner Michael Kniess.
"Where should specialists come from if we do not pass on specialist knowledge?"
Anastasia Schoone also initially completed an internship with the Kniess family: “When I applied, the call immediately came to get to know me. That impressed me, and then I came across the two weeks in Darmstadt for the two weeks. The internship was extremely important to get to know the job profile first. I liked the work and the working atmosphere here is really great, ”says Schoone. In the meantime, she has passed the journeyman's examination with very good results and is now looking forward to being able to continue working as a company in the company. Michael Kniess is also pleased: “We take a lot of time for customers to find tailor -made solutions that are precisely tailored to their needs. The focus is always on the comfort and well -being of customers. This can only be done with friendly and competent employees - and one of them is Ms. Schoone. ”
In the meantime, the young lady has also found a firm (and above all affordable) stay in Darmstadt. "It was almost as difficult to get an apprenticeship," she smiles. “But I like it here in Darmstadt Mega. The city is great. I feel at home here. ”At least she can take care of a nice equipment of her apartment, after all, she sits at the source.
