Madsen, Welshly Arms and many more: The 33rd TOA invites you to southern Hesse from July 25th to 27th
The Trebur Open Air (TOA) is entering its 33rd year – bringing festival flair back to the South Hessian community from July 25th to 27th, 2025. Around the Fritz-Becker-Bad swimming pool, visitors can expect a weekend full of music, water fun, and creative activities – all made possible by volunteer work and a special atmosphere.
Headliners and highlights on stage
Musically, TOA is once again relying on a mix of familiar names and exciting new discoveries this year. Headlining Madsen with their new album "Heute Nacht!" (Tonight!) . The rock band is a firm favorite with the festival's audience.
Other highlights include Blackout Problems , who recently caused a sensation Rock am Ring Welshly Arms , whose hit "Legendary" achieved international fame. Alongside these headliners, the lineup also features Juse Ju , Paulinko , and Eala – a diverse mix of hip-hop, indie, pop, and alternative music.
More than music: outdoor swimming pool, poetry and guided tour of the town
The Trebur Open Air is much more than just a music festival. In keeping with tradition, the integrated outdoor swimming pool offers a refreshing summer dip and a popular competition: the belly flop contest . The poetry slam at the campsite also provides entertainment – a fusion of poetry and performance.
For the first time, the program includes a guided tour of Trebur followed by a special concert in the Laurentius Church – a cultural highlight for all those who would like to get to know the town better.

TOA offers fair prices, especially for young festival fans. Advance tickets are already on sale
- 3-day ticket (regular): EUR 85.00
- 3-day youth ticket (12–15 years, with accompanying adult): EUR 25.00
- 3-day combination ticket including camping & swimming: EUR 115.00
- 3-day youth combination ticket including camping & swimming: EUR 50.00
Children up to and including 11 years of age have free entry when accompanied by an adult. The popular "TOA Gardens" – a separate camping area – are already sold out.
Organized by volunteers – with a powerful impact
Since 1993 , the Trebur Open Air has been organized entirely by volunteers . Over the past 30 years, the festival has become one of Germany's most important non-profit festivals . Year after year, the bookings impress with their keen sense of trends – established acts, exciting newcomers, and local bands all find their place on stage here.
The festival is supported by, among others, the Hessian Ministry of Science and Art and the Savings Banks Cultural Foundation of Hesse and Thuringia . Around 7,000 guests are expected this year.
