Successful weekend for Pfungstadt gymnasts in Crumstadt and Walldorf
The gymnasts of TSV Pfungstadt have had a successful competition weekend: at two events over two days, the athletes impressed with strong performances and secured several medals.
Successful start in Crumstadt
The competition began with a meet in Crumstadt, where seven gymnasts competed in the four-event competition on floor, parallel bars, vault, and horizontal bar. The three best results in each event were counted towards the team score.
Leano Markovic was particularly successful, securing the gold medal with ease. Lukas Hubral finished third, winning bronze. Finn Esche and Leon Langenstein narrowly missed the podium, falling short by just a quarter and half a point respectively.
The team was completed by Damian Sattler, Miguel Schulz Fernandez and Joschua Seib, who also showed solid performances.
More medals at the indoor gymnastics festival in Walldorf
On Sunday, the team travelled directly to the Main-Rhein Indoor Gymnastics Festival in Walldorf. There, too, the Pfungstadt gymnasts presented themselves in strong form.
Finn Esche secured the gold medal in his age group, while Leano Markovic won silver. Damian Sattler and Hannes Wolf each took home bronze.
The other participants were also awarded certificates and participation medals for their achievements.

The coach is satisfied
Coach Rainer Götz drew a positive conclusion: The results underline the team's strong form and confirm the gymnasts' continuous development.
