Concert on June 29, 2025 brings works by Mozart, Handel, Gershwin and other - unusual sound with powerful tuba and organ
An extraordinary music experience awaits visitors on Sunday, June 29, 2025 , at 5 p.m. in the Church of St. Josef in Eberstadt : At a concert under the title "Powerful Tuba meets the diversity of the organ", the sound colors of a tub quartet connect with the rich acoustics of the organ.
The tuba, rarely heard as a solo instrument in the church, interpreted, accompanied by the organ, among other things a little -known trumpet concert by WA Mozart , which is performed here in a version for tuba and organ. Also on the program includes two works by Georg Friedrich Handel : a Bourrée from a flute sonata and an aria from the Rinaldo , which is "sung" by the tuba and supplemented by the organ.
