Creative work with used materials in the Darmstadt secondhand department store
The Darmstadt secondhand store KAGEL free upcycling workshops in 2026. The workshops will take place at KAGEL, located at Pallaswiesenstraße 122. The focus will be on creatively working with found, used, or damaged objects to create new and unique pieces.
Participants can implement their own ideas and projects or receive expert guidance from Denise Tekol , founder of DADAZzwischen . The workshops are open to everyone – no prior knowledge is required.
The 2026 workshops will on Saturdays from 10 am to 1 pm .

Participation is free of charge . Registration is required and can be done online at

Upcycling means repurposing seemingly useless or discarded items and giving them a new purpose. This conserves resources and encourages creative solutions. Materials such as paints, adhesives, and tools are available on-site. Additionally, you can bring your own materials or purchase suitable items directly at KAGEL for a small fee.
