Büchner -Findstettatte offers 500 euros for information on the search for perpetrators in Riedstadt
After the severe vandalism damage to the "Valerio" figure on the Erfelder Altrhein in the night from March 3 to March 4, the Büchnerfindstettatt association has now awarded a reward of 500 euros for information that leads to the perpetrator. The investigation by the Groß-Gerau police inspection has so far remained without result.
The figure was set up as part of an artistic project and organized and financed by the Büchnerfindstettatt association. After intensive advice, the association board decided at its most recent meeting to set a clear sign against senseless destruction with the reward.
"We want to ensure that this act does not remain without consequences," explains club chairman Werner Schmidt . If the perpetrators are determined, they should not only pay for the damaged figure, but also for the reward.
It is currently still open whether the figure can be repaired and reimbursed again. The artist who created the work has already been integrated into the decision.
Anyone who has made suspicious observations or can give information about the perpetrator is asked to contact the Groß-Gerau police station on 06152 1750 .
