Training in June: Using language skills for social participation
The Office for Integration (BfI) of the Groß-Gerau district is seeking dedicated citizens who would like to volunteer their language skills as interpreters. The BfI's interpreter pool currently covers over 30 languages and is used for various purposes, including communication in schools, government offices, and healthcare settings.
We are looking for people who are at least 18 years old, speak German (at least level B2) and another language fluently, and participate in preparatory training.
The next basic training course will take place in June on the following dates:
- Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m
- Friday, June 13, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
- Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
Upon successful completion, volunteers receive a certificate and can be deployed as interpreters if needed. They receive compensation for their services.
