Support during the lending times - especially many children as a target group
Riedstadt-Goddelau. The Goddelau district library is looking for reinforcements: Anja Stark , a library manager of the Büchnerstadt Riedstadt, offers committed people the opportunity volunteer in the Georg-Buchner-Bücherei . We are looking for someone who loves books, can handle children and also feel comfortable in a lively environment.
The library in the town hall of Goddelau is the most frequented among the city's five district libraries. Many children visit the facility - often alone - and need additional support when browsing and borrowing. "It's nice when someone has a good book tip ready and brings an open ear for the young readers," said Stark.
Voluntary succession wanted
The reason for the search: The long -time volunteer Anke Müller will stop on October 1st. "She was there with passion, the children loved them," said strongly the great commitment.
We are looking for a successor to the loan times on Monday - gladly also on Thursdays . The opening times of the district library are on both days from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. With preparation and follow-up, however, you should plan for about three hours per day . An entry is possible at any time - including careful familiarization before the official start in October.
