Non -profit organizations in Hesse can apply for up to 15,000 euros
From April 23, non -profit associations, associations and organizations in Hesse have the opportunity to apply for funding for digitization of their voluntary work. The application phase for the program "Digitized Volunteering!" The Hessian Ministry of Digital and Innovation runs until May 8th.
In the state budget 2025, 1.5 million euros are again available. The aim of the program is to support volunteer organizations in the digital development of their internal processes-for example by introducing software for member management, through digital communication solutions or online offers for training and advice.
The amount of funding is between 5,000 and 15,000 euros. Communicator legal entities of private law, i.e. registered associations or gGmbHs, are entitled to apply in Hesse. Hessian umbrella organizations can also apply.
The Darmstadt member of the state parliament Bijan Kaffenberger (SPD), digital policy spokesman for his faction, was positive about the new edition of the program: Many clubs had great potential that could be better used by targeted digitization. "Digital tools directly strengthen volunteering," says Kaffenberger.
The funding program has been running for several years. Over 800 projects in Hesse have been approved since the start. The application is only possible digitally. Further information and access to the platform offers the ministry website:
