Alternative disposal option for citizens from March 7th
As the Darmstadt press office reports, the own company for municipal tasks and services of the Science City of Darmstadt (EAD) will be affected on several days due to the warning strike of the Verdi union. In order to reduce the effects on waste disposal, the EAD provides containers at various locations from Friday, March 7th. There, citizens can dispose of their waste in the usual waste bags.
The measure applies on the following days:
📅 Friday, March 7th
📅 Monday, March 10th
📅 Wednesday, March 12th
📅 Thursday, March 13th
📅 Friday, March 14th
from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
City treasurer André Schellenberg emphasizes:
“We know about the inconvenience for the citizens affected by shifted emptying dates. With this offer we would like to help reduce the stress. However, we appeal to everyone to use the offer moderately and not necessarily reserve the necessary waste for later disposal. ”
