City reminds readers to take their meter readings – over half already use the digital service
For the 2025 water and wastewater billing, the Griesheim Tax and Fees Office will again send out notifications regarding water meter readings at the beginning of December. These will be sent to property owners, property managers, and authorized representatives.
More than 50 percent of customers already use the digital option and receive their meter reading notification by email. The email leads directly to the portal for submitting their personal online meter reading – eliminating the need for a paper reading card by post. This year, customers can again conveniently register their email address during the online submission process.
The town of Griesheim points out that meter readings can still be submitted online at www.griesheim.de or traditionally on the water meter reading card, which can then be returned postage-free. Alternatively, completed cards can be dropped directly into the mailbox at the town hall.
