The municipal utilities thank the residents for their understanding and cooperation
Following a water main break during the night of Monday, April 28th, to Tuesday, April 29th, in the area of Eulerweg and Flughafenstraße, the water supply has been restored to all affected households. The Griesheim municipal utilities were able to locate the damaged pipe on Tuesday afternoon and temporarily shut it off. By setting up a detour, residents had access to running water again from around 8 p.m.
The Griesheim municipal utilities would like to express their sincere thanks to the affected residents: "We have only experienced understanding and gratitude – a powerful sign in times when emergency services are unfortunately encountering aggression more and more frequently. Despite the difficult situation, the residents were very calm and friendly towards us."
