Good game at high temperatures - donated 900 euros for children with cancer
2025 tournament in the Bensheim Golf Club last Sunday . Around 70 golfers competed on the facility on Hessische Bergstrasse - in sporting competition, but also for a good cause.
The monthly prize in Bensheim has been one of the permanent stations of the WIET Group . Also this year the field of participants could not be deterred by the heat battle: in the 18-hole and 9-hole variant, strong performances were achieved, which were subsequently recognized at the award ceremony under the arcades of the club restaurant.
Victories, donations and sporting community
The gross victories went to Nadja Werner and Thomas Fili (both GC Frankfurt). They secured the qualification for the final tournament on August 9 in the Golfersort Gernsheim. A total of 19 birdies, 209 pars and 350 bogeys were played. These services correspond to a donation income of 479 euros , which the association for cancer and chronically ill children Darmstadt / Rhein-Main-Neckar e. V. (VKKD) benefits.

An additional 421 euros were donated by participants and guests during the award ceremony- a total of 900 euros flow into the charity pot. The winners of the handicap classes A to C as well as the special ratings were delighted with gift baskets, vouchers and non-cash prizes from the tour partners.
