Sunny "nine from two" as a dress rehearsal for the tours on August 9th
Gernsheim. The best conditions, sporting ambition and a strong sign of social engagement: The sixth tournament of this year's WCGTour took place on Friday in the Golfersort Gernsheim. Almost 40 participants played on the "Lufthansa Course" in the popular after-work format "Nine from two" -in bright sunshine and a good atmosphere.

The competition is considered a dress rehearsal for the large to -ceiling on August 9th on the same facility. The WCGTour is a charity golf series in which Birdie, Par or Bogey donations are generated and doubled by tour partners.
Sporting performance and generous willingness to donate
From 2:00 p.m. the flights went around the round, around 5:00 p.m. the last players returned to the clubhouse in a good mood. The award ceremony then took place on the terrace of the Althaus restaurant. There, the winners of the gross ratings as well as the handicap classes A and B were happy about gift baskets from Edeka Patschull, vouchers and non -cash prizes from the tour partners.

Jana Krombholz and Christian Wirth secured the gross victory , which thus earned a place in the final tournament in August. In the game round, 5 birdies, 82 pars and 103 Bogeys noted - which resulted in a donation of 158.50 euros . doubled by the tour partners to 317 euros An additional 250 euros were collected during the award ceremony, so that a total of 567 euros to the association for cancer and chronically ill children Darmstadt / Rhein-Main-Neckar e. V. (VKKD).
