Over 60 participants, strong results and more than 1,100 euros for a good cause
Brombachtal. Just two days after the after-work tournament in Gernsheim, the Wiest Charity Golf Tour (WCGTour) stopped again on Sunday-this time at the traditional "monthly cup" in the Golf Club Odenwald . Despite changeable weather forecasts, the tournament was accompanied by the sun and attracted around 60 golfers to the well -kept facility in the Brombachtal. It was the seventh tournament of the current series.

The starting shot was launched in the cannon at 11 a.m. In advance, the participant was satisfied with the organization and the meals by the club. The 18-hole tournament itself also went smoothly and organizationally. Around 5 p.m., the last flights returned to the clubhouse in a good mood - many with considerable results in their luggage.
Award ceremony with premiums and joy
The award ceremony then took place on the terrace of the Nouvelle In addition to large gift baskets from Edeka Patschull , vouchers and other non -cash prizes from this year's tour partners, the winners of the various rating classes were also honored.

The gross ratings won Alexandra Dombek and Kai Rohwedder - both from the host Golf Club Odenwald. They qualified for the big final tournament of the WcGTour on August 9 in the Golfersort Gernsheim .
More than 1,100 euros for the VKKD
, 17 birdies, 208 pars and 405 Bogeys were achieved at the tournament -a performance that at 495.50 euros donations for the association for cancer and chronically ill children Darmstadt / Rhein-Main-Neckar e. V. ( VKKD ) was rewarded. A further 660 euros were added through additional donations at the award ceremony - so a total of 1,155.50 euros into the donation pot.
