WCGTour inspires with a strong field of participants and donation record for sick children
Riedstadt - Sunshine, sporting ambition and a strong sign of solidarity: The "monthly price" of the WCGTour in the Golfpark Riedstadt was a complete success last Saturday. After the "Kiawah Nine", which was already well attended, made the charity tour for the second time this season on the Golf Absolute facility-and was fully booked again. Almost 90 golfers came together for the fifth tournament of the current series to play together for a good cause.

As early as 10 a.m., the flights started the 18-hole tournament in the best conditions. The sun was beaming over the Ried when the first tee took place - a weather happiness that was supposed to last for the entire day. At around 5 p.m. the last flight arrived in a good mood and satisfied in the clubhouse.
Exciting competition and generous award ceremony
The award ceremony then took place on the outdoor area of the “Hof Hayna” club restaurant. In addition to the winners of gross rating and handicap classes A to C, the best performance in the special ratings were also honored. The winners were able to look forward to generous gift baskets from Edeka Patschull, vouchers and other prices of the WCGTour partners.

Jana Krombholz (Kiawah Golfpark Riedstadt) and Bong Joo Kim (Golfpark Bachgrund) secured the gross victory, which thus qualified for the big final tournament of the WCGTour in the Golfersort Gernsheim.
Highest donation of the current season
The sporting performance was also impressive: a total of 1 Eagle, 41 birdies, 338 pars and 521 Bogeys were achieved - that meant a donation amount of 813.50 euros. Supplemented by a further 365 euros of voluntary donations during the award ceremony, the event came up with a total donation of 1,178.50 euros - a record value in the ongoing tournament series. The amount goes to the association for cancer and chronically ill children Darmstadt / Rhein-Main-Neckar eV (VKKD) .
