The bride and groom were overjoyed and surprised by the opportunity.
Getting married in the "Lilies' living room" – a dream for every Darmstadt 98 fan. Marco Aster is also a huge Darmstadt fan and, together with his wife, was the first couple to get married at the Merck Stadium at Böllenfalltor. The couple exchanged vows in the VIP lounge this afternoon (July 11th).
A special moment
Groom Marco Aster has been a fan of the 98ers for four years. For him, it's "really great" to have gotten married in the stadium as a big Lilies fan, "because it's actually a place where you never get married. [...] The fact that we're the first ones there makes it even more special.".
