Cooperation with Bike2future offers free loan options for bicycles and e-bikes
Together with the local bicycle shop Bike2future a sign of climate -friendly mobility and makes it easier to switch to the bike with two free test campaigns for citizens.
Bicycle test week for new citizens
As part of the (new) civil bike tour on June 29, 2025, interested new citizens will receive a bicycle for free test use over a week . The wheels-classic or electrically-are picked up directly in the Bike2future store and returned after seven days.
"With this campaign, we would particularly like to encourage new fellow citizens to explore the city and their surroundings in an environmentally friendly way," explains Mayor Ralf Möller . The tour offers the opportunity to actively get to know Weiterstadt - all citizens are invited to participate.
E-bike test campaign at city cycling in September
In the period from September 8th to 28th, 2025 , during the city bike , Bike2future E-Bikes provides for free borrowing for one day -with the possibility of extending the test phase to up to a week . Here, too, the company takes over the loan costs completely.
